Height and weight records form a basic, yet key part of growth and development. As children grow, both height and weight change (if the children are smaller) – this greatly helps in determining the growth trajectory. Even when height becomes a constant, weight fluctuations may help detmerine whether there are any points of concern which should be taken up with the parent, whether external intervention is required.
It is always better for the institute to track this and be the first to point out if there are any concern areas. It shows the institute’s involvement and engagement with every student, it tells the parent you care.
